Q: I received this response this morning when trying to send and email to someaddress@123.com.au  Is it a problem at our end or theirs ???

A: When you receive bounce message which says that you do not have permission to send and contains “SPF” inside it the problem usually on your end. There are two possible reason for this bouncing:


- Your domain does not have PTR record and when remote anti-spam engine trying to resolve your email address it’s fails. But not all Internet connection plans allow creating PTR records you need to check with your ISP.
- Your domain does not have SPF record created. Some DNS hosting does not allow to set up SPF records for domains.
